FIA arrests four human traffickers

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested four human traffickers during crackdowns here on Tuesday.

The FIA, while responding to public complaints, conducted the operations in the provincial capital and arrested four human traffickers, Shafique Hussain, Haji Muhammad Shakeel, Muhammad Asghar and Muhammad Ashraf, and confiscated their visas, passports and other documents.

The detainee, Shafique Hussain, had looted Rs 335,000 from a person to provide work permit of Saudi Arabia to him. Haji Shakeel had received Rs 175,000 from one Muhammad Sadiq for providing him Korean visa. Accused Muhammad Asghar had received Rs 8, 90,000 from one Usman Ali for providing work visa of Dubai to him.

Another accused Muhammad Ashraf was arrested for providing fake Australian visa to a citizen against a huge sum of money. The nabbed human traffickers were being interrogated by FIA.
