FIA arrests four notorious human traffickers

LAHORE : The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has started a crackdown against human traffickers and land route agents countrywide specially in Lahore, Gujranwala and Gujrat.

According to spokesman, FIA Gujranwala and Gujrat arrested two land route agents and two other suspects who are allegedly involved in human smuggling.

In a raid FIA has booked Muhammad lyas son of Muhammad Inayat resident of Gujranwala who is nominated n FIR No 614/16, dated 28.06.16, under section 17 (1),22 (b) EO1979, 3/4 HTO 2002. Accused is  a land route agent and has sent many people abroad on fake documents abroad after extoring huge amount from them.

In another action FIA arrested Ishtiaq son of  Abdul Hameed who is a resident of Gujranwala and nominated in FIR No 614/16, dated 28.06.16, u/s17 (1), 22 (b) EO1979, 3/4 HTO 2002. Accused is also a land route agent. Shahid Nazeer son of Nazeer Ahmed resident of Gujranwala is also nominated FIR No 605/16, dated 27.06.16, u/s 17/22EO1979 has also arrested by FIA. Rana Muhammad Arshad son of Ali Bahader resident of Narowal has also booked by the agency and is nominated in FIR No 365/16 dated 13-4-2016.
