FAISALABAD: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a human trafficker namely Amir Meers son of Muhammad Ghafoor residential Tandlianwala, Faisalabad.
Sources told to customs today, FIA Deputy Director Syed Imam Zaidi conducted raid along with his team and arrested the accused who was running illegal business of sending innocent people abroad after extorting big amounts from them. The accused extorted Rs840000 from complaint Israr Ahmed etc on the pretext to send him Malaysia on employment visa but he remained failed.
The officials sent the accused behind the bars after registering a case FIR No.360/2016 against him under Section (U/S), 17/22 Emigration Ordinance (E.O) 1979.
