FIA arrests human trafficker from Sargodha

FAISALABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a human trafficker namely Arif Masih son of Murad Masih who is a resident of Sargodha bearing CNIC No 38403-2196821-3.

Sources told to Customs Today that accused Arif Masih extorted Rs 7,00,000 from different people by promising them to send abroad on employment visa specially European and Gulf countries.

After receiving information, FIA Deputy Director Syed Imam Zaidi along with a inspector conducted raid and arrested the accused.

The FIA has also recovered passports and several fake visas of different countries from his possession. The officials sent the accused behind the bars after registering a case No 522/2016 against him under section (U/S), 17/22 Emigration ordinance (E.O), 1979.
