LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a human trafficker in an operation from Kamalia.
Sources told Customs Today that the anti-human trafficking cell of the FIA raided a locality of Kamalia and arrested Muhammad Shaban son of Muhammad Riaz. He was wanted in a case of human smuggling. The accused had received Rs 500,000 from a citizen for sending him to Dubai for job. It was also reported that the same accused received huge amounts from different people by promising them to send abroad.
In another action of FIA Lahore arrested a person who is involved in preparation of fake pay orders for Utility Stores Corporation of Pakistan. FIA has registered cases against the culprits under sections of human smuggling and fraud with citizens.
FIA has shifted them to unknown place for further investigations and prosecution.
