LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a suspect who is involved in sending people abroad on fake documents.
Sources informed Customs Today that Deputy Director FIA Khawaja Hammad received credible information that a person who is also employee of the Gujrat GPO is running illegal business of sending innocent people abroad after extorting huge amount of money from them.
He formed a raiding team under the supervision of Assistant Director Muhammad Sarwar and arrested the accused. The accused was identified as Muhammad Nawaz Shahid son of Abdul Ghani. He is resident of Bhember district and is an employee of the Post Office Gujrat. The accused is involved in sending hundreds of innocent people to Greece through land route.
