FAISALABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a suspect who was involved in taking bribe worth Rs 10,000 in Khushab. The accused was identified as Muhammad Nawaz, son of Abdul Uddin, who is a government employee (meter reader) in FESCO Joharabad.
Sources told Customs Today that Muhammad Nawaz, who is a government employee, has taken bribe worth Rs 10,000 from Dr Khalid Naeem in Khushab. The FIA team investigated the matter and found him guilty. After investigation, the FIA team arrested the accused.
The FIA team registered a case against the accused and sent him to prison. Further investigations are underway in this regard.
