FIA arrests notorious human trafficker

FAISALABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Faisalabad has arrested a human trafficker namely Nadeem Tahir son of Ghulam Nabi during an action.

Sources told Customs Today, that FIA Deputy Director Syed Imam Zaidi and Sub inspector Taimoor Haider conducted a raid along with his team near Jumra  Road and arrested the accused who was running illegal business of sending innocent people abroad after extorting big amounts from them. The accused person extorted Rs3,50,000 from Muhammad Usman  resident of Faisalabad sending him Saudi Arabia. The FIA team also recovered four original Pakistani passports.

Moreover, during checking of mobile phone of the accused scanned copies of FIRs, affidavit CNICs of different people, sticker visa of Saudi Arabia, labour demand of different countries, electronic tickets, bank transaction receipts, whatts app conversation with different agents regarding employment visas for different countries were found from the mobiles of the accused.

The officials sent the accused behind bar after registering a case No, 116/17 of human smuggling against him under Section (U/S), 17/22 Immigration Ordinance 1979. Further investigations are still in progress till filing of this news.
