FIA arrests one for running Hundi, hawala business

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) claimed to have arrested a person for allegedly running illegal business of currency exchange /hundi hawala in the city, here on Wednesday.

According to an FIA spokesman, the FIA team of corporate crime circle conducted a raid at Sheranwala Gate and arrested an accused Junaid Khan, for running illegal business of hundi. The team alo recovered Rs 165,500, cheque books, ledgers, receipts and other documents regarding hundi hawala business from him. Case has been registered against the accused.
