LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested an employee of Shaheen Air International allegedly involved in currency smuggling from Allama Iqbal International Airport.
According to the details, a special team of FIA raided the Lahore airport and nabbed Yawar Rafiq, an employee of private airline following the charges of currency smuggling to different countries causing loss to national kitty.
FIA started interrogation from the accused person in order to capture the network involved in such heinous crime. It is also learnt that FIA will launch a crackdown against smugglers at all airports, besides keeping an eye on illegal transactions.
