FIA arrests seven persons going abroad illegally

LAHORE: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Gujrat on Tuesday conducted a raid, stopped a vehicle LES-9933 opposite Police Station FIA Gujrat Rehmania, and arrested seven persons, who intended to go abroad illegally.

According to the FIA spokesman, the said persons left Kharian for Lahore by local vehicle. From Lahore, they wanted to proceed to Quetta for crossing Pakistan-Iran border illegally. They wanted to go to Turkey and then onwards to European countries.

They told the FIA team that they each paid Rs 130,000 to land rout agents, Sajid alias Bobi of Shampur, district Gujrat, Tayyab of Lakhanwal Gujrat and Nisar of Kulian Tehsil Kharian, district Gujrat. A case has been registered against them.
