LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested six human smugglers from different districts of Punjab and seized illegal gateway exchange with unregistered mobile SIMs, computers and other equipment.
Director Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) issued strict directions to curb human smuggling in the region.
Yesterday, Federal Investigation Agency raided in Khushab, Gujrat and Toba Tek Singh districts and recovered 800 illegal SIMs, computers, two laptops, 64 passports and other items which are helpful for human smuggling. The arrested accused are identified as Abdul Waris, Muhammad Kamran, Muhammad Khan, Omer, Alamdar Hussain and Nasir Arshed.
The FIA has registered a case of human smuggling against the arrested persons and started investigations.
