FIA arrests three human traffickers in Lahore

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested three men involved in human trafficking and fraud cases.

Sources informed Customs Today that the FIA authorities conducted two raids and arrested three men, who were later identified as Aijaz Ahmad, Ikramullah and Bashir. All the accused cheated people by promising them employment abroad and extorted huge amounts from them. After taking the money, they disappeared and changed their offices.

All accused were wanted by FIA in many cases. They had defrauded their clients for millions of rupees. They were involved in sending people to Muscat, Turkey, Greece and UAE via Iran by illegally crossing the border after payment of money.

Arrested accused were involved in sending innocent citizens to foreign countries on bogus documents and also looted millions of rupees in frauds on the wake of sending them abroad. FIA also recovered passports and currency of different countries. Number of complaints were registered against these accuses in this regard. FIA has shifted them to unknown place for further investigation and prosecution.
