FIA arrests three human traffickers in different raids from Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Faisalabad has arrested three notorious human traffickers from different areas of the city.

Sources told Customs Today that anti-human trafficking cell of the agency raided different areas of Faisalabad division and arrested human trafficker, including Tanveer ahmed son of Liaqat Ali. The accused person extorted Rs 295,000 from Muhammad Lateef for sending him to Muscat but he remained failed.

Another Nasir Mehmood son of Muhammad Hussain has been arrested on the allegations of extorting Rs 380,000 from a person on promise to send him to Dubai on employment visa but he remained failed. The FIA, after registering a case of human smuggling against him, started investigations while Amir Hussain son of Ghulam Hussain was arrested for receiving Rs 48,500 from one Zohaib Shabbir for providing him an employment in Malaysia.

All accused were arrested from different cities of Faisalabad division. The FIA has registered separate cases against the culprits under sections of human smuggling and fraud with citizens.

Arrested accused persons were involved in sending innocent citizens to foreign countries on bogus documents and also in looted millions of rupees. The FIA also recovered passports and fake stamp visas of different countries from their possession. The FIA has shifted them to unknown place for further investigations.
