FIA arrests two notorious human traffickers from Gujranwala

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has booked two human traffickers in operations in different areas.

Sources told Customs Today that a team of anti-human trafficking cell of the FIA raided a locality of Gujranwala and arrested an accused Mazhar Iqbal and another Amanat Ali. Sources said that the human trafficker, Mazhar Iqbal, was involved in sending innocent people abroad on fake documents after extorting huge amounts from them. The FIA has registered separate cases against the culprits under sections of human smuggling and fraud with citizens.

Arrested accused were involved in sending innocent citizens to foreign countries on bugus documents and also looted millions of rupees in frauds by showing them golden dreams of their lucid future abroad. FIA also recovered passports and currency of different countries from their possession. Number of complaints were registered against these accused persons in this regard.

FIA has shifted them to unknown place for further investigations and prosecution.
