LAHORE: The FIA CCC arrested two suspects who were involved in illegal trade of hundi and hawala, sources informed on Monday.
According to details, a raid was conducted by FIA CCC at Shop No. 35 Mubarak Plaza Truck Adda Lahore where two persons namely Dolat Khan and Abdul Mateen, a resident of Afghanistan were found involved in illegal business of hundi/hawala.
The FIA has recovered Rs 1,920,000 registers/receipts of hundi/hawala and mobile phones from the premises and registered an FIR against them under Anti-Money Laundering Act 2010..
The FIA has launched a move against illegal transfer of money and attained a number of successes in this regard, it was reported.
