FIA committee to further probe Khanani, Kalia and Axact cases

ISLAMABAD: A special committee formed on directions of Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan to further investigate Khanani and Kalia and Axact cases reached Karachi.

Besides, meeting with previous investigation officer, the committee would also take all records and evidence of these cases into its custody.

A spokesman of the Ministry of Interior has said the investigations in these cases would be forwarded in light of briefing from previous investigating officer and available evidences.  The four-member committee would lead further investigations of these cases to their logical conclusions.  The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) committee comprised Deputy Director Jamil Ahmad, Assistant Director (AD), Ziaul Islam, Assistant Director Muhammad Sarwar and Assistant Director Muhammad Usman.
