FIA detains notorious human trafficker in Lahore

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a notorious human trafficker involved in sending people abroad on fake documents.

According to a spokesperson of the FIA,  an FIA team raided Thokar Niaz Baig and recovered nine Pakistani passports from the possession of the human smuggler.

According to him, fake visa stickers affixed on the recovered passports, bank statements, medical certificates and other relevant documents were also recovered from possession of the arrested accused. The FIA has registered a case under sections 17/18 E.O 1979 and 6 P.A 1974 PS FIA Lahore. The accused has shifted to unidentified location for further investigation and prosecution.
