LAHORE: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Friday arrested two persons for receiving money from people on the pretext of sending them abroad.
According to FIA spokesman, Muhammad Arshad received Rs 200,000 from the complainant for sending her son Muhammad Bilal of Faisalabd to Saudi Arabia for employment.
In another case, one Amjad Iqbal received Rs1,113 million from the complainant, Mazhar Iqbal, for sending him Canada. However, later on the accused did not fulfil their commitment and also refused to refund the money. Further investigation is underway.
