FIA detains two notorious human traffickers

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has detained two human traffickers during two operations in different areas.

The FIA official told Customs Today that anti-human trafficking cell of the agency raided a locality in Lahore and arrested Muhammad Sadique and Ahsan. Both were land route agents and notorious human traffickers involved in sending people abroad.

The FIA has registered cases against the culprits under sections of human smuggling and fraud with citizens. The arrested accused were involved in sending innocent citizens to foreign countries on bogus documents and also looted millions of rupees from them. The FIA also recovered passports and currency of different countries from them. A number of complaints were registered against these accuses in this regard. The FIA has shifted them to unknown place for further investigation and prosecution.
