FIA nabs doctor for blackmailing girl

LAHORE: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has rounded up a man for allegedly blackmailing a girl by uploading her pictures on social media.

The cyber crime wing of the investigation agency received a complaint against the accused, stating that a doctor named Dr Kaleemul Hassan was blackmailing by uploading her personal pictures on Whatsapp and other social media sites, local media reported.

Following the complaint, a team of the FIA conducted raid in Gulberg, area of Lahore, and arrested the MBBS doctor. The FIA also seized mobile phone of the accused.

The cell phone has been sent to a laboratory for forensic examination, while further investigation is underway.
