FAISALABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a human trafficker during a crackdown.
Sources informed Customs Today that Assistant Director FIA Chaudhary Mazharullah and inspector Muhammad Nadeem arrested Hafiz Mohammad Abbas, a resident of Okara.
Sources said that the arrested accused is involved in illegal business of sending innocent people abroad after extorting huge money from them. Hafiz Abbas received Rs 450,000 from Muhammad Ahsan Shaikh to send him Dubai but neither he sent the victims to Dubai nor returned the money. The FIA sent the accused behind bars after registration a case number 47/16 against him.
