FIA nabs scores of suspects involved in hundi/hawala

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested scores of suspects involved in illegal money transaction (hundi/hawala) from the provincial capital and other cities during the last three months.

According to an FIA official, the agency arrested more than 70 during its ongoing crackdown against illegal hundi/hawala business and conducted 59 raids in Lahore, Gujranwala, Sahiwal, Chichawatni and Toba Tek Singh during the last three months.
