FIA nabs three human traffickers from Gujranwala, Lahore, Sialkot

SIALKOT: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Gujranwala division, has arrested three human traffickers cum proclaimed offenders during raids in various areas.

Sources told Customs Today that Deputy Director FIA Gujranwala division Khalid Anees received secret information that some people are doing illegal business by sending innocent people abroad after extorting huge amounts from them.

He formed a team and raided at Malikwal, Lahore and Sialkot and nabbed three human traffickers cum proclaimed offenders. The arrested accused persons were identified as Amjad Hussain, Ishfaque Aziz and Anwar Hussain. The accused had been involved in human trafficking since long. The accused used to send people to Turkey, Iraq, Sweden, Uzbekistan etc on fake visas and documents. The FIA has recovered fake visas, stamps, documents from their possession and registered separate cases against the accused. Further investigations are underway.
