LAHORE: Anti-Human Trafficking Cell (AHTC) of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Lahore, has arrested four accused persons, including two human smugglers and two court absconders.
According to FIA AHTC, Lahore Deputy Director Ch Muhammad Ahmed, in its campaign against human smugglers, the AHTC officials held two human smugglers named Ejaz Ahmad and Muhammad Arif of Mandi Bahauddin.
They used to defraud people on the pretext of sending them abroad through illegal land route, he said. Similarly, the deputy director said two court absconders named Umair Shah and Muhammad Aftab of Mandi Bahauddin were arrested by FIA AHTC Lahore. They were wanted in multiple FIRs and had been absconding for long, he concluded.
