MIRPURKHAS: A team of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Wednesday arrested a clerk of regional passport office and an agent in a raid conducted in the presence of a judicial magistrate, and recovered bribe money from them.
Sources said that one Muhammad Hayat Qureshi had informed the FIA Hyderabad that officials at agency’s regional passport office had demanded money from him for resolving his issue, after which he had to pay Rs10,000.
Reacting to the complaint, a team of FIA Hyderabad, headed by Inspector Akram Fakhar, raided the office and apprehended clerk Tauseef and agent Ramesh and also recovered money Rs10,000 from Tauseef.
