Lahore: FIA seizes huge quantity of smuggled goods from warehouse

LAHORE: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has seized huge quantity of smuggled items during raid at a warehouse near Band Road.

According to FIA sources, a team of officials — under the supervision of Assistant Director Mian Asif — raided Achkazai warehouse on Band Road and seized a huge quantity of smuggled cigarettes, spare parts of different automobiles and other items.

These goods were smuggled through Peshawar and Chaman route to Lahore. FIA teams have started campaign against elements involved in smuggling of different goods from Afghanistan and Iran through different routes. These smuggled items are easily available in local markets of Lahore.
