FIA starts investigations against three corrupt NADRA officials

SIALKOT:  The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has registered a case against three NADRA officials, including an assistant director and five others for issuing the computerized CNICs, B-Forms and birth and death certificates to the people on fake documents.

 According to the details, the FIA team arrested an accused tout Ikram Butt from the office of Nandipur TMA and recovered 20 birth certificates and NADRA registration receipts from him. During the preliminary inquiry, the suspect told the FIA investigators that NADAR Gujranwala Assistant Director Usman Butt, NADRA driver Muhammad Aslam, head clerk of Nandipur TMA’s map branch Nazir Shah and four private accused including Sheikh Faazal, Riaz Butt and Ghulam Dastgir were involved in this big scam of issuing the CNICs, B-Forms, birth and death certificates to people on fake documents after extorting big amounts from them.
