MULTAN: A district and sessions court has ordered the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to launch a probe into the “missing necklace”, which had been donated by the wife of Turkish President (then prime minister) Recep Tayyip Erdogan for the flood-hit people of Pakistan.

Erdogan’s wife had donated the precious necklace to the flood victims of Pakistan but its proceeds were not distributed among the flood victims. Javed Iqbal, a resident of Kot Addu, filed a petition for the recovery of the necklace, saying that the piece of jewellery should be deposited to the national exchequer.
