NEW DELHI: After successful completion of 3rd edition of FICCI Quality Systems Excellence Awards for Manufacturing, FICCI is inviting applications for the fourth edition of these awards for the manufacturing sector for the year 2015.
The awards are presented to firms and companies for the recognition of their commitment to quality systems at the workplace and putting in place good quality systems in the organization. The purpose of this award scheme is to recognize organizations that have high performance quality system leading to a systematic improvement in organizational performance. This is being done in the context of making Indian manufacturing more competitive as manufacturing is key to India’s growth and development. Government of India has also put impetus in the sector by launching ‘Make in India’ campaign. There is also a need to improve the quality of our products to achieve as Prime Minister has said “Zero Defect, Zero Effect’.
The awards are likely to be presented in July 2015 during a conference. Date of the conference shall be finalized shortly.
