ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Member Inland Revenue Policy and Spokesperson Shahid Hussain Asad has urged the taxpayers, filers and non-filers to file their returns via online to be included in active taxpayers list.
He further said that those people who have not filed their tax returns for the year 2014 could file their returns now to avoid any kind of penalties and audit. The filers who submitted their returns manually will be listed overtime as it will take time to be completed, Asad added.
He said that Pakistan Post offices did not have online active taxpayers’ list system so far, but it will be up-graded soon.
The taxpayers could get confirmation by sending an SMS to 9966 whether they are included in list or not within minutes, he said.
