DUBAI: A meeting between IMF and Pakistan Finance Ministry Officials was held here at Dubai. Secretary Finance Dr. Waqar led the Pakistan delegation. Pakistan’s economic performance from July to December 2014 was considered in the meeting.
According to Finance Ministry sources Pakistan achieved most of the economic targets. While briefing IMF, Finance Ministry Officials revealed that steps are being taken to broaden the tax net.
Last round of dialogue between IMF and Pakistan Finance Ministry will be held tomorrow. Finance Minister Ishaq Dar will be present in tomorrow meeting.
