ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Finance has approved the promotion of Pakistan Customs officials into next grade who are working in BS-16.
Sources told Customs Today that the Federal Board of Revenue has forwarded a summary for the promotion of superintendent customs, superintendent preventive and principal appraisers who are working in BS-16 to next grade on the directions of the cabinet committee.
Sources said in future, a three-year satisfactory service as superintendent BPS-16 is compulsory for promotion to BPS-17. Grant of higher time scale pay will be subjected to fitness of candidate and recommendations of the relevant department promotion committee.
