ISLAMABAD: The Finance Division Tuesday notified appointment of Javaid Jehangir as the Auditor General of Pakistan (AGP) with effect from the date he enters that office.
“In exercise of the powers conferred on him under Article 168(1) of the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan 1973, the President has been pleased to appoint Mr. Javed Jehangir (a retired BS-22 officer of Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service) to be the Auditor General of Pakistan with effect from the date he enters upon that office,” the notification stated.
