He said the portal has been introduced to promote foreign investment and provide investors with easier access to investment opportunities through a modern digital platform.

Muhammad Aurangzeb said Pakistan offers significant investment potential across various sectors and added that the InvestPak portal would simplify and accelerate the investment process while providing services in line with international standards.

The finance minister said individuals can now start investing with as little as Rs5,000 through the JazzCash app, adding that such investments would benefit retail investors. He also noted that participation in the Pakistan Stock Exchange has increased and that the government is encouraging young people, particularly Generation Z, to explore investment opportunities.

He emphasized that digital platforms such as InvestPak represent an important milestone for the country’s economic development, adding that the private sector has a vital role to play in driving sustainable economic growth.

Earlier, State Bank Governor Jameel Ahmad said effective measures are being taken to promote investment, adding that the InvestPak portal will play a key role in advancing digital investment in Pakistan.

He said the portal will provide investors with online access to investment-related services, making the process more efficient and transparent.
