Finland’s Building costs increase by 1% in April 2015

HELSINKI: Building cost index 2010=100. Statistics Finland. Building costs increased by 0.9 per cent higher year-on-year in April 2015, according to Statistics Finland.

The prices of labour inputs in construction went up 1.5 per cent and the prices of materials by 0.5 per cent while the prices of other inputs increased by 1.2 per cent from one year ago. The total index of building costs declined slightly from March to April, the data show. The prices of labour inputs went down by 0.1 per cent and the prices of materials by 0.3 per cent.
