HELSINKI: PKC Group continues to negotiate new frontiers for their business, with these new contracts set to generate annual revenue of around €30mn. Finnish wiring harness and cabling contract manufacturer PKC Group has won new business contracts worth approximately €30mn from two major global vehicle manufacturers.
The major part of the deal involves PKC North America manufacturing high current fuse modules and associated EDS routing and retention shields for a new light vehicle platform for an unnamed key customer. This represents a shift in focus for PKC North America, who has previously concentrated on special power distribution center (PDC) development for commercial and light commercial vehicles.
Furthermore, the PKC Group has been selected as a global wiring harness supplier to a leading global agriculture vehicle manufacturer for a new agricultural equipment platform. The new contracts are estimated to generate annual revenue of around €30mn and will launch by 2018.
