Finnish Valio removes UHT milk from market

HELSINKI: Finnish diary company Valio has decided to remove a batch of UHT semi-skilled milk from market. The product in question is a batch of one litre packed milk whose due date is 21 September.

According to Valio, the reason to withdraw the milk product is due to quality defect caused by technical failure of the packaging machine. The error caused the milk to taste bad and have a clamped structure as well emitted a bad smell. According to Valio, the product is not dangerous to health. The defective product can be returned to the shop where it was purchased. The customer will also be refunded.
