LAHORE: Punjab Institute for Research &Training, Fisheries Department has announced to organise a course on “breeding ornamental fish” for women from November 2.
According to official spokesman, Director General Fisheries Punjab, Dr Muhammad Ayub said here on Thursday that the objective of this training course was to train women in breeding and taking care of ornamental fish as well as aquarium preparation. This course would help women aspiring to start small scale businesses, he added.
He said interested women can attend the training from Nov 2-4 at Fisheries Research and Training Institute (Wahga road) opposite Manawan police station. Residence facility would also be provided free of cost, it was stated.
