ISLAMABAD: Five BS-16 officers of Pakistan Customs Service have been exonerated from the charges level against them.
As per details, the disciplinary proceedings was stated against Principal Appraiser Safdar Abbas, Appraisers Ghulam Yasin, Raja Waseem Ahmad, Examiners Ali Murad and Habibullah posted at Model Customs Collectorate (Port Muhammad Bin Qasim), Karachi under Government Servants (Efficiency & Discipline) Rules, 1973.
Muhammad Tahir, Additional Collector (BS-19), Model Customs Collectorate of Appraisement (East), Karachi, was appointed as inquiry officer to investigate into the charges levelled against the officials.
According to inquiry reports, the charges levelled against the accused officials were established. The authorised officer/Chief (Management-Customs) FBR acquitted/exonerated the officials from the charges levelled against them.
