ISLAMABAD: A Division Bench of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) heard Warid Telecom’s case filed for settling claims about investment exceeding Rs 7.8 billion.
The company, through its counsel Uzair Karamat Bhandari had filed a petition at IHC for settling the amount the loss in the said investment plan.
Commissioner of income tax, through its counsels, had contradicted company’s claim and stated that the company had beard loss of Rs 6.8 billion in the concerned investment plan.
After hearing the arguments and plea of company’s counsel that he had not received, earlier given, ATIR decision and certificate of service, the court directed the counsel to appear before the bench after attaining the missing material which would authenticate.
IHC Division Bench, comprising of Justice Shuakat Aziz Siddiqui and Justice Athar Minallah was hearing the case. The hearing was adjourned till November 18.
