FLORIDA:The Florida Chamber of Commerce announced that Frank C. Walker, III has been named Vice President of Government Affairs. He had previously worked as U.S. Rep. Daniel Webster’s chief of staff as well as leadership positions with Sens. George LeMieux and Mel Martinez, and Rep. Dave Reichert of Washington, and several congressional campaigns before moving back to his hometown of Tallahassee.”After more than a decade in Washington, I know the solutions to the challenges facing Florida, and our nation, come from the state and local level. I am excited to join the Florida Chamber’s unparalleled team of experienced and connected professionals in fighting to advance these solutions, unleash free enterprise and secure Florida’s future as a leader in our 21st century, global economy,” Walker said.
