For 1-20 MW from 14.4096 to Rs15.0279 cents per unit: Nepra okays upfront tariff for solar power

ISLAMABAD: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) has okayed approved upfront tariff for solar-powered electricity to the power purchaser for 1-20 MW solar PV plants for North Region at Rs15.0279 cents, South Region 14.4096 cents per unit; for 20-50 MW solar PV power plants, tariff in North region will be 14.8953 cents and 14.2825 cents in South region.

According to Nepra, the upfront tariff for 50-100 MW solar PV power plants will be 14.7588 cents in North region and 14.1516 cents per unit for South region. The tariff of solar power would be decreased by the passage of time.
