LONDON: Ford has launched its new top-of-the-line Mondeo Vignale in the United Kingdom and it will be offered for sale starting from next month coming in at 29,045 GBP.
The new generation of the Ford Mondeo has gotten even more appealing thanks to the introduction of the new range-topping model, the Vignale. This has been shown on the UK market recently and it is the company’s attempt to penetrate the premium mid-size segment which is currently dominated by more expensive models such as the BMW 3-Series, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class or the Audi A4, amongst others. This is part of the new Vignale brand and it will be hand-finished by a team working at the Vignale Center, in Valencia, Spain.
The new Ford Mondeo Vignale will be offered as a four-door and a wagon with the Vignale Nocciola metallic paint on its body, the tuxedo stitched leather interior and with the Active Noise Cancellation technology which is using microphones to monitor the noise coming from the engine and entering the cabin, using opposing sound waves sent through the speakers to cancel the noise. Some of the features found on it include the high-gloss lower grille, chrome door details, 18-inch exclusive wheels, LED adaptive headlights, heated steering wheel, power tailgate, 12-speaker sound system, SYNC2 infotainment, navigation system Traffic Sign Recognition, Active Park Assist, Active City Stop and much more. It can be had with the 2.0L TDCi 180 HP, with the 210 bi-turbo TDCi, the 2.0L EcoBoost with 240 HP and the 187 HP hybrid version.
