KARACHI: The country’s total liquid foreign reserves have reached $20,332.9 million ($20.3 billion) during week ended February 19, 2016.
According to the central bank, foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan stood at $15,478.9 million while net foreign reserves held by banks are $4,854.0 million. During the week ending February 19, SBP’s liquid FX reserves decreased by $36 million to $15,479 million, compared to $15,515 million in the previous week. The decrease in reserves was due to payments of $35 million on account of external debt servicing.
