KARACHI: The country’s total liquid foreign reserves have reached $20.771 billion, the State Bank of Pakistan said.
According to the SBP’s weekly statement, the foreign reserves, held by the central bank on April 15, amounted to $16,027.2 million and the net foreign reserves, held by other banks, were $4,752.6 million.
SBP’s liquid foreign exchange reserves decreased $14 million to $16,027 million as compared to 16,041 million in the previous week.
During the week, the SBP made payments of $178 million on account of external debt servicing and other official payments. The SBP received $223.6 million from the United States of America under the coalition support fund during the week.
