KARACHI: Total liquid foreign exchange reserves of the country stood at $23.492 billion, said State Bank of Pakistan.
According to SBP’s weekly statement here on Thursday, the foreign reserves with State Bank on October 7, amounted $18,410.2 million and the net foreign reserves held by commercial banks were $5,081.9 million.
During the week ending October 07, country’s total reserves decreased by $120 million to $23,492 million. Whereas, SBP’s liquid foreign exchange reserves decreased by $81 million to $18,410 million over the period. During the week, SBP made payments of $76 million on account of external debt servicing.
