KARACHI: Total liquid foreign exchange reserves of the country stood at dollars 23,865 billion, State Bank of Pakistan said.
According to the SBP’s weekly statement, the foreign reserves held by State Bank on November 18, amounted $ 18,846.9 million and the net foreign reserves with Commercial Banks were $ 5,018.3 million. During the week, the country’s total reserves decreased by $ 230 million to $ 23,865 million. Of which decrease in SBP’s reserves were $ 180 million. The decrease in SBP’s reserves were mainly due to payments on account of external debt servicing.
