Four drug pushers convicted

FAISALABAD: The session courts on Saturday convicted four drug peddlers involved in different narcotics cases.

According to the prosecution, Mansoorabad police had arrested Arshad Javaid and recovered 1.050 kg hashish from his possession sometime ago.

Additional Sessions Judge Farrukh Hameed awarded 13 months imprisonment to the accused and directed him to pay a fine of Rs 20,000.

In another narcotics case of Peoples Colony police station, Additional Sessions Judge Iftikharun Nabi awarded one year and six months imprisonment to Kashif.

The judge also awarded one month imprisonment and a fine to a drug pusher, Adeel, who was arrested by Madina Town police.
