Another attempt of smuggling was frustrated by the customs officials on GT Road when a truck bearing registration No: HNR-3195 loaded with 15,000kg of peanuts was impounded by the ASO Nowshehra.

The customs staff arrested the accused who revealed that the peanuts were being smuggled into Afghanistan via Torkham Border.

The Anti-Smuggling Units of the Customs-FBR Peshawar are working hard under the leadership of Collector Customs Muhammad Saeed Jadoon to beat the menace of smuggling which is causing the customs exchequer big losses.
